Caring for the Communities We Serve

SolenisGives is led by a diverse group of global volunteers. These representatives lead regional employee groups that support local to national initiatives, drive employee engagement through various channels and collaborate with our EBRGs to enable employees worldwide to support their communities and charitable causes.   

Our Program Includes 

  • Search a large, global database to find charities that align with their passions
  • Find and sign up for local and/or Solenis-sponsored volunteer opportunities
  • Commit to daily activities that support a cause, from recycling to using reusable straws
  • Join groups of employees with a shared passion for a particular cause
  • Donate to charities, including The Water Project, the primary institution we support  

To provide employees a common ground to channel their passions, we’ve chosen three main causes that align with our company vision and mission. We highlight specific charities focused on:

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS

Supporting "Força Feminina" in Brazil 

SolenisGives sponsors "Força Feminina," a project by the Taekwondo Association of Grande Vitória, Brazil. This initiative combats gender violence and empowers over 100 young women through education and Taekwondo, fostering personal growth and community transformation.

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS

Susan Komen MORE THAN PINK WALK 

Our women’s network in Atlanta GA attends the Susan G Komen More Than Pink Walk committed to end Breast Cancer. Eight of our employees participated in the walk and raised $356 towards breast cancer research & life-saving programs.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Volunteering at Environmental Education Centre 

Our communication teams from across the globe came together to lend a helping hand at the DuPont Environmental Education Centre in Wilmington, Delaware. 35 participants cleaned and mulched garden areas, benefiting the Delaware Nature Society Inc.

COMMUNITY CARE

Supporting DANA Flood Victims 

SolenisGives volunteered quickly as the floods affected Valencia in Spain. International Red Cross and Médicos Del Mundo were identified for fundraising due to the assistance they offered to the flood victims. Disinfectants were provided as relief along with a cash donation.

COMMUNITY CARE

Christmas Solidarity in Argentina 

The team of volunteers in Argentina donated Christmas baskets to 19 families in need. These baskets contained gifts and specific items requested by the families.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Chemical Free Rice Agriculture in Taiwan 

Supporting a Responsible Care initiative in Nantou (Taiwan), employees volunteered with local farmers in adopting rice plantation without agricultural chemicals. This provides safe, healthy food for people and supports the local environment. The team donated 240 kg of rice to the local orphanage.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Cleaning beaches to protect the oceans 

Volunteers proudly joined Ocean Conservancy’s challenge in Peru to help protect our oceans. Education and conscious action encouraged more citizens to join the movement.

EDUCATION

Children’s Nature Program in Brazil 

Solenis volunteers participate in the Children's Nature Program which brings together children for a day of outdoor activities in the Atlantic Forest reserve in Brazil. These children benefit from the exposure to diversity that helps shape respectful and inclusive individuals.

MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

The Water Project

Solenis proudly supports The Water Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean water and improved sanitation to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Through this partnership, we help fund sustainable water infrastructure and hygiene education, empowering communities—especially women and girls—by reducing the time spent collecting water and improving health outcomes.

CoffeeBriques℠

CoffeeBriques repurposes coffee discards from hospitality operations into sustainable, renewable biofuel briquettes. By transforming coffee grounds into clean-burning briquettes, we reduce landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions, while providing affordable, eco-friendly fuel to underserved communities. This initiative not only supports environmental sustainability but also creates economic opportunities.

Through PlasticShreds, Solenis partners with hospitality customers to transform single-use plastic waste into reusable, durable products, diverting plastic from landfills and oceans. By collaborating with local communities, we help generate livelihoods and provide eco-friendly materials for construction and manufacturing projects.
