Solenis is committed to product stewardship and to minimizing the environmental impact of our products across their life cycle.
As a Responsible Care* company, Solenis has a long-standing commitment to product stewardship and the practice of making health, safety and environmental protection an integral part of the entire life cycle of chemical products. This includes environmental and regulatory programs; product risk management; product regulatory information; remediation; process safety management; and audits.
At Solenis, minimizing the negative impacts of our products on the economy, the environment and all of our stakeholders is critical. Products that could pose unacceptable risk are not approved for production. Products approved for sale must also meet local and global regulations, such as the European Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) obligation and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for hazard communication. Products are labeled with accurate and complete warnings and Safety Data (SDS) content to provide important safety details for use. Product hazards are typically published in multiple languages for customers around the world.
